The Calhoun County Cancer Control Coalition (5C) is a group of individuals working together to reduce the cancer burden in Calhoun County through community collaboration.

The Priority Areas of the 5C are Tobacco/Lung Cancer Prevention, Prostate Cancer, Colorectal Cancer, and Breast Cancer.

Free Colonoscopy Program

ColonInterested in having a free colonoscopy? Do you fit the following criteria?

  • Live in Calhoun County?
  • No insurance or a very high deductible?
  • 200% of poverty level or below?
  • 50 years old or have a family history of colon cancer?
  • Have transportation to and from the medical facility?

Meetings

The 5C meets bi-monthly on the first Wednesday of February, April, June, August, October, and December at 5:30 pm in the Bronson Battle Creek Cancer Center Conference Room.
